ISO8583 Card Transaction BIN Prefix Switch
Basic setup of an ISO8583 Card Prefix routing solution with the neaPay Switch Router on ISO8583.
neaPay Switch Router supports scritpable routing (javaScript), so any processing can be added.
Also, the neaPay Switch supports many transaction formats, not limited to ISO8583: ISO20022, SIO15022, HTTP REST APIs, SQL or MQ handlers, as well as clearing files processing.
Video demo of the solution in action, technical details below
For this setup, we have 3 components:
1. Payments Acquiring system - ISO8583 simulator
This is the system that brings in payments transactions, at a specific speed.
For this example, the Acquiring system will deliver about 40 transactions per second.
The Payments Acquiring system will be simulated with the neaPay ISO8583 Simulator.
The ISO8583 Acquiring System
2. neaPay ISO8583 Switch Router
Route ISO8583 transactions, on a simple matching rule on card prefix
All transaction responses are returned to the originating Acquirer
3. Authorization-Issuing Card Host Endpoints - 3x instances
3 Issuing hosts are simulated here, like Visa, MasterCard and Amex hosts
Teh DEMO has only one matching rule, for simplicity. Any rule can be added, and more processing, via javaScript
Other connection types can be used, for integration via REST APIs, direct account to account processing, or batch processing.
