BASE24 classic tracing of transactions. Audits, configuration, enabling and opening

BASE24 classic relies heavily on XPNET for auditing transactions and does not have a mechanism of his own for tracing.
BASE24-eps , when running on HP NSK (tandem) also relies on this auditing mechanism but also has an extra tracing mechanism where, if enabled, shows the steps taken while processing transactions.

In this article we will deal with the auditing mechanism of XPNET , which is used by both BASE24 classic and BASE24-eps, and in another article we will discuss the BASE24-eps tracing mechanism, with some explanations.

First part, audits on XPNET.
In XPNET, audits can be enabled and configured at different levels.
We will start with node level audit configuration.
